Mental Health Week

To mark Mental Health Week, high school students had a practical activity in their morning assembly, on Tuesday, October 15th. The assembly entailed a brief, 5-minute meditation, followed by the reading of anonymous confessions of children who were struggling with their mental health.  The opportunity to comment or give their helpful input was given to the children, as they voluntarily shared what helps them! Finally, to wrap things up, students were told to repeat positive affirmations about themselves before getting started with their day with a fresh sense of motivation and enthusiasm.  This program was organized by the high school counseling center.
