The elementary school years are a critical period for a child’s growth and development. While growth occurs at a slower pace compared to the early years, each stage of development builds on the previous one and influences the next. Proper and healthy nutrition during this time is essential for providing the energy needed for daily activities, supporting physical growth, and enhancing overall well-being. School is where children begin to make independent decisions about their lifestyle, including their eating habits. Elementary school students are particularly impressionable and are strongly influenced by their peers and environment. This makes it an ideal time to educate them about healthy eating patterns and instill lifelong nutritional habits. To promote awareness of proper nutrition, a Healthy Nutrition training session was conducted by Dr. Hosseini for the elementary school students of International section. The session took place on Tuesday, January 1st, in Hafiz Conference Hall and emphasized the importance of adopting and maintaining healthy dietary practices. This event provided students with valuable insights and practical guidance to help them make informed food choices and establish a foundation for a healthier future.
