Baking Bread: A Hands-On Science Experience in Kindergarten As part of their science curriculum, our kindergarteners took part in a fun and educational hands-on activity: baking bread! Through this engaging experience, the children explored different materials by touching the flour, smelling the yeast, and observing how ingredients transform—from dry to sticky, and eventually into soft dough. They loved kneading the dough and shaping it into their own little loaves. The activity was not only a great way to learn about changes in matter but also a joyful and sensory-rich experience. Best of all, the children got to taste their freshly baked bread, enjoying the fruits of their own work!
